Do you always wanted to know how time it takes for your website/blog to load? Well, here is a solution to the problem. You can now check the site load time in a single click using Pingdom.com Tools.

As you all might know, Pingdom is a quite popular performance monitoring service used for checking the uptime of websites and servers. However it has now provided a free load time test for all the web pages. The full page test loads a complete HTML page including all objects present int the websites (i.e.images, CSS, JavaScripts, RSS, Flash, Widgets and frames/iframes) and displays the load time of all the objects visually with time bars serially. You can also see various other data like the total number of objects present in the website, total load time of the site, and size of the pages including all objects.

How to Check:

Simply go to Pingdom Tools and enter your url. You will get a detailed graph on how each element is present in your site, and how much time does it take to load on your webpage. It will also help you identify any issues which are slowing down your website like scripts or widgets, so that you can fix them.

A bookmarklet is also present there to analyze the load time. Simply drag it to your bookmarks toolbar and click on it to test any webpage in one click.

I tested this on my blog and it took me around 7 seconds to load the whole webpage which is quite impressive. Ain’t it?

How fast does your website/blog loads? Do tell us your load times.
