Recently, A lot of Bollywood celebrities have started joining Twitter. Maybe because of its ease of use or its the coolest and easiest way to connect with their fans. Twitter might also come in handy for these celebs if you have to clarify any issue or speak out your mind, thereby avoiding any misinterpretation by mainstream media (if any). The fans can also keep tabs on what happening in their favourite actor’s/actress’s life by just following them and can also pass on any tips or suggestions they have got, directly to the celeb.

There were a few cases of impersonation before but I think so that can be eliminated now with the introduction of verified accounts by Twitter.

Here are some of the Bollywood celebs who are on Twitter and are also updating their twitter stream pretty regularly.

1. Gul Panag:

She was one of the first, if not the first Bollywood Celebrity to land on twitter. She keeps updating her timeline regularly and also promptly replies to any questions posed to her. It can also be said that she has a great sense of technology.

2. Mallika Sherawat:

Mallika was recently in news for being the first Indian celebrity to visit the Twitter HQ. She might also be credited for taking twitter mainstream in India, with Twitter registering a lot of Indian registrations after Mallika’s visit to the Twitter HQ.

3. Priyanka Chopra:

Priyanka is also a regular twitterer, She keeps tweeting about what’s happening on sets and other things in her life.

4. AR Rahman:

Yes, the music maestro is also on Twitter. However there is no regular updates from him but who know he might become frequent twitterer some day.

5. Ayesha Takia:

She seems to have joined Twitter very recently. Hoping to see a lot of updates from her as well.
