Seagate, one of the world leader in storage solutions, today announced the latest lineup of the its award-winning FreeAgent external hard drives. This new generation of the Seagate FreeAgent family has an attractive desktop and mobile options, for both Mac and Windows operated PCs.

These come in a wide variety of capacity points like the FA Go which comes in sizes of 250 GB, 320 GB and 500 GB, The FA Desk (500 GB, 640 GB, 1TB, 1.5 TB) and The FA XTreme (500 GB, 640 GB, 1 TB, 1.5 TB). Seagate has also launched similar versions of FA Go and FA Desk for Mac .

At a height of only 12.5mm, the new FA Go can easily fit in a pocket without compromising on its flagship feature of including the advanced shock and vibration protections. The new FA Go also provides a docking option through which you can forget about all the mess of using various cables and connecting them to the external hard drives.  The FA Desk drive and FA XTreme also provides the flexibility to sit horizontally or stand vertically to maximize the usage of the disk drives.
