Remember a few months back , when you had rushed to get the Facebook username you had always wanted?

Well, from today, you can use the same username to log in to Facebook.com rather than your email address.

This new feature, helps you to skip typing those extra characters that comprised your email address and instead use your shorter username to access your Facebook account.

I feel this move by Facebook makes complete sense considering the fact that people remember their usernames better than their email addresses. What do you think? Do Pass on your comments.

However, if you have not registered your username as yet, you can just head over to facebook.com/username to register your username and then start using it for accessing your facebook account.
