Mozilla has released a new series of security updates to Firefox 3.0.1. Some of the important changes are :
- It has fixed several security and stability issues.
- It has released beta versions for Bengali, Hindi, Kannada and Telugu etc
- The Sinhala and the Slovene versions have come out of beta.
- It has fixed a number of minor issues with respect to layouts of certain web pages and also several theme issues that affected the right-to-left locales.
- It has fixed several hangs and crashes that occurred when using screen readers.
- It has fixed some mac based issues like Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Indic characters can not be entered (using IME) into text fields in Flash objects, Keyboard shortcuts would stop working in some cases. etc.
You might get "update available" notification pretty soon or if you cannot wait for it, you can always go to the Help Menu-> Check for Updates to get the latest version of Firefox.
