Tired of the ever increasing size of the Media Players, then check out Damn Small Media Player, an open source media player from Saurabh. At a miniscule size of just 716kb it is truly an amazing media player and does its job amazingly well.

- No Setup. Just download and start using it.
- Takes very low memory. It just took 3MB memory on my machine.
- Very Minimalistic.
- Supports all the global shortcuts for Play/Pause, Previous, Next and Stop.
- Can Easily Import and Export playlists.
- Random Songs feature

If you think this player is great, you should also look into XMPlay (http://support.xmplay.com/). I’ve been using it for a year now and it’s incredible. Also has no install, small memory footprint and is skin customizable and has multiple plugins. I have a super minimalistic skin (ImAbar – Black Rounded) on at the moment.
