Google ChromeIts been clear that people hate IE6 with the lots and lots of campaigns that have been launched on the internet. However, lots of people are still stuck using IE6 for reasons beyond their control such as not able to upgrade, no admin rights etc. Therefore, to combat this problem, Google has now launched Chrome Frame.

So What’s a Chrome Frame?

Chrome Frame is a new browser plug-in developed by Google for IE to replicate the Chrome browsing experience within any version of Internet Explorer.

So How does this Chrome Frame work?

Chrome Frame is basically, just a plug-in that creates a new frame of Chrome browser inside IE .  The plug-in is very lightweight (~ 500K), but before using Chrome within IE,  it needs to download some Chrome-related data (~10 MB) to work seamlessly on the machine.

Currently, Chrome Frame supports IE6, IE7, and IE8 on any Windows Powered PC.

You can download Google Chrome Frame from here. Also, to learn more about Chrome Frame, you can check the video below
