The 7 Best Firefox extensions selected by Mozilla
This list of extensions was chosen by a group of six judges commissioned by Mozilla as part of a contest it has called Extend Firefox 3, out of the pool of 100+ entries for 3 different categories namely, Best New Add-on, Best Updated Add-on and the Best Music Add-on. and the winners were:
Best New Add-On
1. Pencil = For GUI prototyping and diagramming that everyone can use. Pencil makes uses of the SVG support in Firefox 3 to implement all the shape rendering and scripting.
2. Tagmarks = For One click bookmark tagging.
3. HandyTag = For Automatic bookmark tagging
Best Updated Add-On
4. Read it Later = To save pages of interest for later reading.
5. TagSifter = To Browse your bookmarks by their tags.
6. Bookmark Previews = It adds an album view and thumbnail view to the bookmarks manager.
Best Music Add-On
7. Fire.fm = It gives a direct access to the extensive music library on Last.fm
