If you have read my blog recently, you might have read that I had been to the Nokia’s Blogger’s meet recently.

Well, it was organized by Nokia India to familiarize us with the thought process gone behind creating Nokia NSeries Phones like the recently released Nokia N97. Axel Meyer, the Design Head of Nokia NSeries explained us how the making of N97 went through and all the things they took into account while designing this phone.

We were also given an hands on experience on the Nokia N97 for sometime to just get a general experience on the phone. What I particularly liked about the N97 design was the 35 degree tilt of the screen when it is slides up. This makes the user to access the touchscreen at the same time when they are typing something on the QWERTY keyboard. The tilt also makes a brilliant user experience when you are watching any video/ movie on the move unlike in touch screen phones like Nokia 5800, iPhone etc.

Some of the interesting bits which I found interesting are:

1. A mindblowing 48GB of Memory (32 GB Inbuilt and 16GB Extendable Memory)
2. A 5 MP Carl Zeiss Camera with Auto Focus.
3. Well spaced out QWERTY Keyboard which had one of the best layout and typing experience on the Phones I have tried.
4. 16:9 video capture support and HD Video playback support which makes it perfect for viewing movies on the go.
5. A more responsive touchscreen as compared to the Nokia 5800.

I have not yet completely checked out the device, therefore I will write a complete review once I get an opportunity to try it.
