How to send Empty Body E-mails on Gmail

Author: Vikas SN | Files under How To, Internet

I often send e-mails where my entire message fits in the subject and there is no need for the body, but when I try to send these type of e-mails I get a pop-up saying “Send this message without text in the body”.

Gmail

However Gmail Team has come up with an solution to this problem in their blog.

Now you just have to add “EOM” or “(EOM)” at the end of the subject line and Gmail will promptly send the message without the unnecessary Pop-up.

Hope this post helps. Do share your comments.

It sucks! I prefer to press enter once instead of pressing:
    - Tab (to switch to the body)
    - EOM
    - Tab (to switch to the send msg)
    - Enter

    @ Diego,
I don’t think so you got it.
You have to add “EOM” to the subject line and not to the body.

Gud one Vikas this will really be useful,
There are many cases where we just have to ask or tell a sentence to a person.so that fixes our thoughts on how to write two different messages[one on the Subject and the other on the description]

Having to waste time typing in “EOM” ain’t good enough! There should be an option to disable the pop-up. It can’t be that difficult for Gmail to introduce?
