Chrome for Linux and Mac OS X

October 9th, 2008 | Comments | Posted in Browsers

Google has not yet released the official version of chrome for Linux and Mac OS X, but the people at Code Weaver have made use of the open source feature of Google Chrome and created a browser compatible with Linux and Mac OS X named “Crossover Chromium”.

This browser i.e. the Crossover Chromium uses “Chromium” , the open source code used in Google Chrome, to power its Linux and Mac OS X versions.

Though the browser is not the perfect version of Google Chrome and it has its own share of problems like Font issues and Website Design issues but it is still worth giving a try.

Download Crossover Chromium.
